On 22 March 2026, Professor Christoph Kletzer, Vice Dean of the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London, visited Fudan University Law School. He was accompanied by Mr. Zhou Yuxiang, Senior Counsel and Deputy Director of the Cross-border Legal Affairs Committee at Beijing S&P Law Firm, and Ms. Wang Yiqun, Partner at S&P Law Firm. Professor Du Yu, Dean of Fudan Law School, together with Professor Chen Li and Director Sun Lei, warmly received the delegation.
The Deans focused their discussions on developing degree pathways and a dual-degree programme for graduate students, and explored the possibility of future student exchanges, joint doctoral training, and increased faculty mobility. The meeting reflected a shared commitment to deepening collaboration in legal education and research, with a view to preparing globally minded lawyers for international practice.
S&P Law Firm will also support closer links between legal scholarship and cross-border practice by creating opportunities for practical training and professional development.
Following the meeting, both institutions agreed to further develop these proposals and work towards formalising the partnership in due course, building on their complementary strengths.
