The Fudan Law Vis Moot Team has secured a brief-writing honor at the 18th annual Willem C Vis East International Arbitration Moot (Vis East Moot) virtually held in Hong Kong, March 14 to March 22 2021. The team was among a select group of participating teams to receive an Honorable Mention for the David Hunter Award for Best Claimant Memorandum – a first in the history of the Fudan moot team.

The Willem C. Vis Moot is the most prestigious moot court competition in international commercial arbitration. This year, the Vis East Moot attracted 150 teams from all over the world, including world renowned law schools such as Harvard Law School, London School of Economics and Political Science.

This year’s team consisted of Kaiting Xu (LL.M.), Linlin Li (J.M.), Zhouquan Lu (LL.B.), Lyuzhi Wang (LL.B.), Wen Luo (LL.B.), and Yixuan Feng (LL.B.). The team is most appreciative of Dr. Chen Li and Dr. Jiang Chaoyi for their invaluable guidance in preparation for the competition.
