A Successful Freshmen Orientation for New Students of 2019 LL.M. Program in Chinese Business Law
On the afternoon of September 12, 2019, the Orientation Meeting for the freshmen students of the 2019 LL.M. Program in Chinese Business Law was held in Classroom 201 at the Law School. The Orientation was presided over by Vice Dean of Fudan Law School, Professor Chen Li, and Director of the LL.M. Program, Associate Professor Shi Daxiao.
At this energetic Orientation, the two professors warmly introduced themselves to the students, the perfect opportunity for students to have a better understanding of the faculty. Then the professors gave a detailed introduction of the history of Fudan’s LL.M. Program in Chinese Business Law, academic research, training, campus life and other related affairs. This introduction provided the students with a clear picture of their student life for the next two years.
The LL.M. Program in Chinese Business Law was launched in 2010 and has entered its 10th year. 70 international students from 20 countries including North & South America, Europe, Australia and Asia have been enrolled in this program. Through this two-year course, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of Chinese culture, business and its financial legal system.
In regards to this program’s development plan, the Law School will conduct efficient research and build a solid training platform to attract more outstanding foreign students to apply. The aim is to push forward foreign student work of the Law School to achieve ground-breaking progress.
This orientation provided each and every LL.M. student plentiful energy and a warm sense of belonging. We wish our international students a smooth transition both academically and socially at our Law School.
