GUO Jian
GUO JIAN is a professor of legal history at Fudan Law School and a Ph. D. student advisors. Member of the Shanghai Committee of the Democratic League, Deputy Director of the Democratic League Fudan University Committee. Standing director of China Legal History Society. He has long been committed to the study of the history of Chinese legal system, the history of civil law in China, and the legal culture, and has achieved fruitful research results. He has published more than ten academic papers in academic journals and published more than ten monographs. Thanks to teaching and research achievements, a variety of awards have been obtained both inside and outside school.
Professor Guo serves as the teaching task for undergraduate courses such as "The History of Chinese Legal System" and "Taiwan-Hong Kong-Macao Law." He also set up a "Chinese Legal History" course for the JM Master of Laws. As a master of Law History Master's tutor, he is mainly responsible for the direction of graduates of Chinese legal history, set up courses such as "Special Topics on Chinese Legal History", "History of Chinese Civil Law", "History of China's Economic Legislation" for graduate students of this major. In 1995, he was named outstanding young teacher in Shanghai's universities. In 2001, she was awarded the Shanghai Education Commission's Yucai Award. In 2012, he won the Baogang Education Fund Outstanding Teacher Award. In 2006, he was awarded the title of “Good Mentor” by graduate students of Fudan University. In 2010 and 2012, he was awarded the title of “Good Teacher” by graduates of Fudan University.
