On December 15th, Liu Li, Director of Fudan International Student Office (ISO), Deputy Directors of ISO, Ms Ding Jie and Mr. Zhang Xiangrong, Deng Haibing, Section Chief of ISO, Yang Li, Section Chief of the General Office visited Fudan Law School. Vice Deans of Fudan Law School (FLS), Professor Chen Li and Professor Li Chuanxuan, Professor LI Shigang, Dean Assistant of FLS and SHI Daxiao, Associate Professor of FLS cordially met with the visiting group at Conference Room 202 in Leo Koguan Law Building.

Two groups carried out in-depth discussions and shared views regarding to various issues. Both sides called for the development of internationalization in areas such as school admission, enrichment programs, administration, International student service and reviewed the growth of cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary exchanges in the past few years. The faculty members also undertook a reappraisal of how they have brought strategic work to connect prospective International students, current International students and alumni to build upon the existing strengths of the School.

During the meeting, Prof. Chen and Prof. Li introduced L?L.M. program in Chinese Business Law as one of the largest initiatives of Fudan Law School since 2010. Additionally, with university support, the department will embark on a Dual Master’s Degree program in the year of 2018. Director Liu highly valued the LL.M. program in Chinese Business Law and stressed the importance of delivering English instructed courses to follow through the concept of internationalization on both academic and professional levels. She was delighted to see an outcome that acknowledges the internationally excellent legal resources ongoing here at Fudan Law School. Two groups of leadership reached broad consensus on the long-term mechanism of cultivating international students, which laid a solid foundation for the future development of Fudan Law School.
